Friedrich Thomas Friedrich Thomas (1891–1962) was a member of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra from 1924 to 1958. (We are grateful to Susan Nelson for this information.) Thomas appears as a soloist on only two recordings, but he was a very interesting musician. Do you have a photograph of Friedrich Thomas or any biographical information about him? We would be delighted to have it. Please contact either of us: Christopher Steward: chris.1picc@hotmail.co.uk Robert Bigio: Robert@bigio.com
